Access control
One-way corridor Toran
The Manusa Toran one-way corridor is a security gate that offers fluent pedestrian traffic in one way, usually from a critical security area (disembark area) to another area less secure (access controlled area, baggage claim, etc.).
It has been specially designed to meet the security needs of airports, seaports or rail terminals and public transport infrastructures in general, as well as other areas with similar requirements, such as public buildings entrances.
The system consists in two sets of interlocked doors, which open automatically in the direction of the flow without any inconvenience for the users.
If there is an attempt to turn back into the corridor, the alarm goes off and the door closes and locks automatically, avoiding the unauthorized use until the corridor is completely empty. Its operating mode is absolutely secure thanks to its sophisticated wrong-way detection system.
